An amazing bank that goes the extra mile.
44 Queen St, Oxford OX1 1ET, UK – 0800 554 0351
Perfectly reasonable branch of a pleasant building society. Went the extra mile when we took out our first mortgage by sending a box of essentials - toilet paper, mugs, tea, UHT milk etc. - to our new house so that we could settle in before we started to unpack: nice touch.
Very friendly, polite service
1 Pound Way, Oxford OX4 3XS, UK – 0345 300 0000
I was incredibly impressed by the way in which we were welcomed by Mr Mohammed, the banking adviser. Easy going, to the point and addressed all concerns I had upon 2 of the visits I made to the branch; he really personalised his service as well and made my mother felt very comfortable. I don’t do review so this really a token of my appreciation! In general, the bank is quite good and can’t fault the service.
Pretty much the same as any other bank

18 New Inn Hall St, Oxford OX1 2DW, UK – 01865 242794
Staff always cheery here, a breath of fresh air when it comes to banking. Nice personable service. Often a queue but never too long to wait. Quite handy location when visiting Oxford
22 Queen St, Oxford OX1 1EP, UK – 01865 447512
Unfortunately massive waste of prime real estate, huge a huge lobby that would be great for something else. Always friendly staff here. Personally don't feel the need for a physical bank.

I will never seen before.Love it and very inspirational.
The beautiful Oxford Town Hall is a public building in St Aldate's Street and being used for weddings, conferences, meetings, concerts, festivals, social events and exhibitions. This Jacobethan building was opened in May 1897, replacing the demolished 1752 one in 1893.

Very nervous with dentists & got referred for specialist root canal treatment, not going to lie I was bricking it but Raj & his lovely dental nurse were amazing, I can’t recommend them enough, made me feel very relaxed & had hardly any pain after, just one night of paracetamol! Great job!
Thank you so much to dentist, Raj, and dental nurse, Julie, for their amazing treatment of me and my root canal work!! I was so nervous of having this invasive treatment, having had bad experiences with dentists in the 1990s whereby I experienced nerve pain, despite the anaesthetic given at the time..... However, these two are such a professional team, I felt entirely safe. And the best of it was, Raj even "warned" me, now you might get some bad pain when the injection wears off, so be prepared with pain killers... Well, this was psychologically very clever, because, when there was NO pain at all, I was doubly happy with them and super mega relieved. I have such a simple job compared to what they do. RESPEKT!!!!!! Katharine Nathan Witney patient.

Can recommend very highly. Very efficient, excellent booking system with reminders and very high quality care. I was seen by Dr Tan who was absolutely brilliant.
I went to Temple Street Dental Practice a few weeks ago and have been meaning to post a review for a while. I hadn’t been to a dentist for years and thought I should! The service was great and the receptionist was very friendly. The dental care I received was very excellent - thank you Emily and Tas! I will definitely be going back there next time.

9 King Edward St, Oxford OX1 4JA, UK – 01865 242657
Dr. Drury is outstanding. I wish everyone I cared for had her for a doctor. You feel that you're working together to get to the common goal of your health and happiness.
Dr Drury is outstanding in her care, both from a medical perspective and a personable one. Thank you for all the great work you do! The midwife Denise is also superb and lovely, as are all the receptionists and doctors I have encountered at this practice. So pleased to have across this practice.
East Oxford Health Centre, 1 Manzil Way, Oxford OX4 1XD, UK – 01865 263120
Been to this surgery often with son daughter and wife. Mostly with 8 year old son as he is diabetes 1 and really treated well staff always friendly and cheerful. Parking sometimes a problem but where isn't it in Oxford. Best surgery I have known.
As with every doctors (when you get past the receptionist) You see a different doctor everytime...Nearly a two week wait to see a doctor...!!
200 Kennington Rd, Kennington, Oxford OX1 5PY, UK – 01865 730911

Automated check-in and seen on time. The nurse was a locum, friendly and very good.

I like the night. Without the dark, we'd never see the stars.
Old Rd, Headington, Oxford OX3 7LE, UK – 0300 304 7777
Feels more like an Industrial Estate than a Hospital, BUT, the Patient Care is most definitely second to none. Was referred here for all my care and treatment following issues with my local hospital and refusing to deal with them. It's a bit of an effort to travel to Oxford just for a hospital appointment but for the care, treatment and support, it all helps. Wouldn't have it any other way.
My partner had liver and colon resection here. Both teams are excellent. Surgeons are skilled, caring, amazingly dedicated people. We are totally in awe of them. Follow up care very good. All the staff are dedicated to patient care. Even if an odd thing goes wrong (and law of averages plus staff shortages means it's likely to) you still feel that just about everyone is doing the very best they possibly can.
101 Windmill Rd, Oxford OX3 7LD, UK – 0300 304 7777
Excellent, top class facility... Caring staff. Only loses a star due to Parking problems. I have a blue badge and there is limited disabled parking. Unless you get there before 9.30 you have to drove around endlessly waiting for someone to leave.
Major redevelopment to the site from the 1990s when we first attendend appointments for corective surgery and phisiotherapy the old Buildings have almost all gone to be replaced by perpose built Buildings with all services in one place instead of being trollyed or wheelchaired to the diffarent deptments scatered around the site.

St Aldate's Church was built in the 12th century.
My home church for over 20 years. I've stayed through many changes and still encounter God here. What more can I say?

Spent a week as a student in the Oxford Experience. You live and learn like a student. We saw all the buildings, libraries, gardens. This is a fantastic place with great buildings and structures. The main entrance great stone carvings are wonderful. The most famous sites are the dining hall, library (which only students can enter), cathedral, gift shop, quads. The dorms (students only) are interesting as they have been updated, but still a lot of old features. There are building a new visitors center which should make the whole experience more enjoyable.
I did not see the Christ Church Cathedral, but only the Meadow Building which is part of Christ Church. This magnificent building was built from 1862 to 1866, and the result was great. I would add that I especially liked the climbing plants that make it even more attractive.

Very satified by the work carried out on my bmw suspension. Good value for the money, considering the speed and flexibility I would recommend this garage for repairs and also any parts of the cars!
My car's turbocharger has packed up recently and gave them a call to buy replacement part. They did not have one in stock but they help me to source another one through there trade links. Got the part fitted today, working lovely plus been given 6 month warranty. Great company working for community.

If you are an artist, hobbyist or DIY enthusiast or gardener looking for materials and tools then this is the place for you. An Aladdin's cave of odds and ends, including fabrics, spectacle lens banks, ping pong balls and tools - I have acquired many really useful tools here, most of which are in working order and others which needed a little refurbishment. If you live in Oxford for any length of time then Orinoco is certainly a place you get to know about.
Trying to list all the useful things I've had from Orinoco over the last 2 years, even though I don't use much stuff and am very strict with myself about carting anything home - fabric, including perfect pieces to fix much-loved clothes right up to amazing samples to make a throw (done) and maybe even a flowery jacket ( not yet done! ) So much useful paper, of all shapes, sizes and types, so that I never need to buy flipcharts or any other kind. Cards, postcards, envelopes, pens, plastic sleeves, folders, a very strangely sized box file which now holds some precious gardening archive, a stand for bracelets, a small table with shelves on castors, books both to read or look at and the wonderful prototype blank books, which mean I don't ever buy books for journalling or work notebooks and have lovely 'comments' books for my workshops. A fab weird metal planter that's now full of parsley. A very robust bag that goes to and from the allotment with all manner of stuff in it. A perfect;y shaped clipboard. That's not all. And there's often a cuppa on offer too. I'm not an arty crafty person, I sew and write and garden and sing and Orinoco has plenty of useful stuff for me. I've seen so many delighted people leaving with things that save them heaps of money. Always worth a go before you go and buy new.

Recommended this place by the Airbnb I'm staying at and this place delivered amazingly. Great fish starter followed by the curried goat accompanied by a chickpea saucy thing. So tasty without being too spicy. They suggested the citrus coleslaw which was so zesty and tasty that I recommend it! Would come back again as the staff and atmosphere (Caribbean music) were delightful.
My wife and I were visiting Oxford for a family member's graduation in April. Without making plans, we happened to walk by Spiced Roots late one evening and decided to give it a try. Amazing! We used to live in an area with several good Caribbean options but that was several years ago. This place reminded us of what we're missing! I had the jerk chicken, she had the black rice tempeh and we split some starters and plantains. Wish I lived nearby!
97 St Clement's St, Oxford OX4 1AR, UK – 01865 200111
Been here twice now, even though it's a long way from where we live. The staff are very friendly and the food in amazing... always gives my wife a taste of "home". Would definitely recommend.
I knew absolutely nothing about Slovakian food before coming to this place, but I didn’t expect it to be this good. Great little restaurant away from the more touristy centre. Prices are good as portions are large. A good option if you’re tired of the same old Italian and French-style restaurants which are omnipresent in Oxford.
21 Cowley Rd, Oxford OX4 1HP, UK – 01865 201120
A real gem hidden in plain sight. It's easy to walk past without even noticing it, or to dismiss it because the sign doesn't look professional enough or because it's so quiet. But you absolutely should dine here- the food is truly excellent, the portions are large and the prices are absurdly cheap. And you'll get the best pitta bread and (homemade) houmous for free as a bonus. I really cannot overstate how good this restaurant is, and think that it's a real shame that it's not better known.
The service in here is always really good. We have the lunch menu and it's £8 for two courses. Always taste good and is Turkish style food. Shish kebab and rice, mezza plates and more.
St Clements Family Centre, Cross St, Oxford OX4 1DA, UK – 01865 202512
Fabulous preschool with a nurturing and community environment. The teachers are infinitely patent with a strong focus on individual child's abilities and development areas, learning through play.

My daughter use to go to this nursery (aged 8 months to 3 years old) and she loooved it here. The staff are great with the children and very kind, caring, smiling, polite, and communicate well to me about my child. My daughter built lots of confidence while at the nursery inside and outside while safely doing so with staff not far away. My daughter learnt a lot and all the staff there made the transitions between the current and next class with such ease. For my daughter she was very happy to go to the next class. My daughter made so many friends and looked forward to going into nursery each day, she actually was sad to leave there to go to first school. I definitely recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a nursery for their children.
Very nice and friendly atmosphere. My little boy loved his first day at nursery. Hi didnt wont to go back home.

Overall is really a nice trip, but no luck to get in the restaurant.
Visita obligada.

Good food, good atmosphere, had to wait a long time to be let in though
A great community, with an extremely high-achieving pupil base. Although I am biased, it is a great school.

An okay school, staff are friendly but it has failed to control bullying.
The school hires out their hall to Oxford Vineyard Church. The church is brilliant. The school hall has some raked seating and a good lighting rig.
